Submission Guidelines
We invite researchers, artists, educators, and technologists to submit their work under this year's major themes. Please review the General Requirements applicable to all, followed by the Specific Format Guidelines relevant to your contribution type.
1. General Submission Requirements
Applicable to all tracks.

Title: Choose a clear, engaging title that accurately reflects the essence of your work.

Thematic Alignment: You must clearly identify which of the 6 Major Themes your work primarily addresses (e.g., Intersections of Art–Sci–Tech, Curiosity & Education, etc.).

Author/Creator Information: Provide names, affiliations, and contact details for all contributors.

Bio: A short biography (100 words max) for each contributor.

Language: All submissions must be in English.
2. Format-Specific Guidelines
A. Academic Track (Papers, Work-in-Progress, Posters)
For researchers, scientists, and scholars.

Abstract: Submit a 300-word abstract summarizing the research question, methodology, results, and conclusions.

Full Papers:

Length: 3,000–5,000 words (excluding references).

Formatting: Follow APA referencing.

Posters:
-
Dimensions: A1 size (59.5 x 84.1 cm), portrait or landscape.

Design: Visuals should dominate over text. Ensure legibility from a 1-meter distance.

Structure: Introduction, Methodology/Process, Results/Insights, Conclusion, References.

Evaluation: Quality of research, relevance to curiosity, clarity, and theoretical rigor.
B. Creative Practice (Visual, Literary, Performative, Interactive)
For fine artists, designers, and liberal arts practitioners.

Artist Statement: Instead of a standard abstract, provide a 300-word statement describing the concept, artistic intent, and how the work explores the chosen Curiosity theme.

Media Support:

Visual/Interactive: Submit high-resolution images or a video walkthrough of the work.
-
Performance/Narrative: Submit a script excerpt or a video recording of a past performance (or rehearsal).

Technical Rider: Clearly list all technical requirements (e.g., space dimensions, lighting, audio, power needs, internet access).

Evaluation: Artistic merit, conceptual depth, originality, and alignment with the theme.
C. Demonstrations & Tech-Based Exhibits
For technologists and prototypes.

Description: A 300-word overview of the technology, the problem it addresses, and how it demonstrates curiosity in action.

Experience Flow: Briefly describe the user experience (how will attendees interact with the exhibit?).

Logistics:

Space: Specify the required footprint (e.g., tabletop vs. floor space).
-
Equipment: Specify what you will bring versus what the venue needs to provide (e.g., monitors, VR headsets, sensors).

Evaluation: Innovation, interactivity, stability of the demo, and user engagement.
D. Workshops & Panels
For educators, community practitioners, and interdisciplinary groups.

Proposal Description (500 words):

Workshops: Define the learning outcomes, activities, and target audience. Is it hands-on making, inquiry-based, or reflective?

Panels: Describe the central debate or discussion topic.

Participants/Speakers:

Workshops: Max number of participants allowed.
-
Panels: List of confirmed panelists and the moderator.

Duration:
-
Workshops: 90 minutes or Half-Day options.
-
Panels: 60 minutes (including Q&A).

Materials: List any materials provided by the facilitators and any requirements from the venue (e.g., whiteboards, projectors, art supplies).
3. Submission & Deadlines​

Note: All accepted contributors must register for the conference.
4. Evaluation Criteria
All submissions, regardless of format, will be reviewed based on:

Relevance: Connection to the selected Curiosity theme.

Interdisciplinary Approach: How effectively the work bridges disciplines (e.g., Art & Science, Cognition & Education).

Clarity & Quality: Coherence of the argument, artistic expression, or technical design.
-
Engagement: Potential to spark dialogue, interaction, or new understanding among attendees.
